Coconut Oil - தேங்காய் எண்ணெய்

OrgFarm’s Wood Cold Pressed Coconut oil are made in traditional stone mills with a slow grinding wood pestle (20rpm). Our process retains all nutrients, rich flavour and natural aroma of sun dried high quality coconuts.

Because of the combination of Wooden pestle and a stone base, the oil extraction happens at room temperature or a maximum of 40 degree Celsius. This guarantees the goodness of healthy fatty acids while having near to zero-transfats.

- Single Layed cotton fabric filtering

- Wood Pestle made of Lebbek Tree

Key Benefits:-

- Use of wood from Lebbek tree helps in reducing stress, diabetes and any heart diseases.

- Because the oil is extracted at low temperatures, saturated fatty acids are kept intact.

- Wood cold pressed oils have higher density and consistency compared to regular refined oils or hot pressed oils. So a family of 4 needs only 3 litres of Cold pressed oils when compared to 5 litres of hot pressed oils.

Things to Note:-

- Our oil is filtered using a single layered cotton fabric and also with natural sunlight. While the splattering sediments are removed, our oil may still contain some sediments. Not to worry. This is actually a mark of cold pressed oil and single filtering process.

- Use of sun-dried coconuts and no addition of any preservatives/essenses make them less coloured compared to other oils.
