Ajwain - ஓமம்

Ajwain seeds have long been used in traditional ayurvedic and Unani medicines for various ailments in Indian cuisine. Extraction obtained from this particular spice is sometimes used as a cure in treating flatulence and indigestion. Ajwain has a pleasant aromatic taste and has ground-grey to greyish brown in colour used mainly as a flavouring agent in cooking, household as well as to prepare homemade medicines in case of cold and indigestion.
